PETRI – Sofia and Y-PEER Network at the Study Session: Youth Against Online Discrimination

Yuliya Andzhekarska representing International Institute for Youth Development PETRI – Sofia and Sargis Ghazaryan International Coordinator of Y-PEER Network are attending the study session on Youth Against Online Discrimination.

The study session is being organized by the YSAFE network in partnership with IGLYO and the Digital Leadership Institute, the session is taking place from 19th – 23rd March 2018, in the European Youth Center-Strasbourg, France.

The Study Session is held in cooperation with the Youth Department of the Council of Europe and its purpose is to bring 20 young SRHR activists together to help you better identify and address online discrimination based on gender and sexual orientation. The session will increase participants’ knowledge on intersectionality and how it can serve as a tool to understand discrimination. They will learn from each other’s experiences as activists in their own countries and gain knowledge on how to adequately translate and tackle various forms of online discrimination.
