Guidelines for youth workers – “A Story Makes a Difference”

The present Guidelines are the result of the common work developed by the partner organizations of the project “Short Stories – Big Changes”, realized under the Key Action 2 – Strategic Partnerships in the field of Youth, within the Erasmus+ Programme. The partners are non-governmental organizations based in Bulgaria (International Foundation for Y-PEER Development), Germany (Migration_miteinander), Italy (CET Platform) and Sweden (Ungdomsfronten).

The Guidelines present examples and descriptions of activities that can be used to develop different non-formal educational programmes in the youth field, mostly concerning the work with young migrants and refugees, as well as other disadvantaged groups. The guidelines include practical information on different methods, tools and techniques that could be used for storytelling to create impact on big audiences. It is a very powerful tool which can be efficiently used in youth work, especially for transferring messages and creating a positive change in people’s attitudes.
