The platform provides a space for youth advocates to exchange information and experiences from their work in the field of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) in Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

“Speak Act Change” connects youth advocates by simultaneously acting as a form of social media, a resource centre and a space for blogging and accessing up to date news in the fields of SRHR and youth rights.

This Contact Making Seminar is focused on youth workers on how to work on Human Rights Education (HRE) in international youth projects. Participants will have the opportunity to get to know new partners to create HRE projects in Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps. The main topic of the Contact Making Seminar will be how to work on Human Rights Education (HRE) in international youth projects and identifying possible cooperations between the participants in order to create ideas and common projects in the frame of Erasmus+/ European Solidarity Corps.

Youth workers having experience with Human Rights Education ( e.g. working on topics like anti/discrimination, anti/racism, empowerment, peace education, LGBTQ, civic education, environment, childrens rights, values education, etc), having recently received training on the topic of HRE  ( e.g. at a training course of the  “Youth for Human Rights” project (https://noored.ee/human-rights-education/ ) will meet and explore the possibilities of HRE in projects in the frame of Erasmus+ Youth in Action/European Solidarity Corps.

Partnership building and establishing new cooperations for projects will also be on the agenda of this activity.

Who should apply? 

This training course is open to youth workers, youth leaders, youth project managers, participants of recent HRE trainings coming from Erasmus+ Youth in Action Programme countries (aged 18-30).

What are the participation costs?

This project is financed by the Erasmus+ Youth in Action Programme. Being selected for this course, all costs (accommodation, travel, etc.) relevant to participation in the course will be covered by the NAs involved in this project – except a participation fee which varies from call to call and country to country. Please contact your NA to learn more about the financial details, and how to arrange the booking of your travel tickets and the reimbursement of your travel expenses.The hosting National Agency of this offer will organise the accommodation and covers the costs for accommodation and food. Your sending National Agency will support your travel costs. After being selected, please contact your NA to learn more about how to arrange the booking of your travel tickets and the reimbursement of your travel expenses.
