Y-PEER – PETRI is proposing alternatives to tackling bullying in schools: workshop with students

On 18th of June, members of  the PETRI Sofia team, the EVS volunteers Viktoria Bondikjova and Angela Georgieva from North Macedonia organized workshop with high school students in the 153 Sports School “Neofit Rilski” in Sofia.

They presented the work of the Y –PEER-PETRI Sofia by transmitting and showing the activities and opportunities that it has in the organization. Target theme of the workshop was interpersonal violence and bullying, as well as prevention from all forms of physical and mental abuse.
The aim of this activity was to develop knowledge and understanding about the causes and consequences of bullying, as well as to advance the skills to confront the problem.
10 students actively participated in the discussions, gave different opinions and explained the situation about these topics in their country and in their school.
At the end, the students finished by sharing real stories in which they had witnessed bullying.

Thanks to the wonderful cooperation with 153 Sports School Neofit Rilski and active participation of students, we made another successful workshop, which we are happy for!
